Не прошло и 3х месяцев, как наш местный оракле наконец выдал нам често купленный суппорт план на свой (теперь уже окончательно Oracle а не Sun) Solaris.

После получения SR ID, пройдите на http://support.oracle.com/, зарегистрируйте контакт, если у вас еще нет никакого, введите SR ID и ждите, покуда вас проаппрувят (обычно в течении суток).

После того, как вы получили доступ к патчам и суппортам, вы естественно замечаете что ни одного патча под Solaris 11 Express скачать нельзя.

Но не боитесь - всё по плану. Solaris 11 теперь апдейтится сугубо через ipkg, отдельные пакеты качать не дают во избежание (можно подумать, что нельзя раскидать 1 ключег на 5 систем как и раньше, но я вам ничего не говорил).

Чтобы настроить ipkg, идёте на https://pkg-register.oracle.com/, получаете сертификаты. Дальше - как обычно, меняете репозиторию для гоев на репозиторию для белых людей.
